backstory
Originally hailing from Waterdeep, Furjur earned his moniker "the Flippant" due to his irreverent humor and unorthodox business practices. In the mid-to-late 14th century DR, he established Furjur's Flying Carpet, a specialty shop located on Northwind Street in Sundabar. The store became renowned for offering exotic items from the Shining South, such as brass lamps, beaded curtains, and even a genuine flying carpet priced at 45,000 gp. Despite owning the shop, Furjur was an absentee proprietor, entrusting daily operations to six young female shopkeepers. His ventures extended beyond Sundabar; around 1350 DR, he gifted the spellbook Nchaser's Eiyromancia to Lord Nasher Alagondar in exchange for a charter, showcasing his knack for leveraging rare items in negotiations.
