By 1370 DR, at the age of fourteen, Geiron was sent with Tethyrian troops to reinforce Trailstone, serving as a scribe and general aide. His dedication to duty and learning was evident as he sought training in the arcane arts from Gamalon Idogyr, overcoming his fear of the court sage's gem eye. Geiron's noble lineage traces back to Eremoes Hawkwinter of Waterdeep, making him a prominent figure in both Tethyrian and Waterdhavian circles.
