A female human fighter with striking features, Kyrin has long, flowing dark hair often tied back for riding. Her attire reflects her equestrian lifestyle, favoring practical yet noble garments suitable for both court and cavalry. She carries herself with a commanding presence, exuding confidence and authority.

Kyrin is known for her strong will, exceptional horsemanship, and strategic mind. She is a superb rider, horse breeder, and military strategist. Her leadership style is characterized by a balance of discipline and compassion, earning her respect among her peers and subordinates.

Born and raised in Waterdeep, Kyrin is the sixth child and second daughter of Eremoes and Kyrin Hawkwinter. She is the twin sister of Jornos Hawkwinter and aunt to Geiron Hawkwinter. In 1360 DR, Kyrin met Zaranda Star and fought alongside her against the Tuigan Horde. By 1368 DR, when Prince Haedrak III was announced as Tethyr's rightful heir, Kyrin joined his army and took command of the cavalry, many of whom were provided by Lord Zelphar Thann. Following the Reclamation Wars, Queen Zaranda granted Kyrin and her descendants the county of Calimmon. As Countess, she ruled from the keep of Daraqadim, which she preferred to call 'the Cliff.' She expanded the manor with large stables and stronger defenses, designed by her friend Count Zelphar Thann. In 1371 DR, Kyrin was engaged to marry Garron Ersemm, a skilled horseman and captain of her cavalry. However, her farsann, Rontal Qirattar, secretly plotted to remove Garron, believing himself to be the ideal match for Kyrin.
