backstory
Drengar Harbright, an elder uncle in the Harbright family of Waterdeep, managed the High Flagon, a gambling hall and inn located about two miles north of Waterdeep on the Long Road, around 1372 DR. Seeking to protect his daughters from the perceived corruptions of city life, he moved his family out of Waterdeep, though the High Flagon itself was known for activities such as gambling, drinking, brawling, prostitution, and drug dealing. Under Drengar's management, the High Flagon became a significant source of revenue for the Harbright family, surpassing their traditional textile business. He later established the Roaring Dragon House, a more raucous gambling establishment, placing his niece Brarindra and nephew Thoalur in charge.
