backstory
Maxtilar Rhebbos served as the Prior of the House of Heroes, a prominent temple dedicated to Tempus located in the Sea Ward of Waterdeep, from 1357 DR through 1368 DR. As Prior, he was responsible for maintaining the temple's archives, documenting the deeds of great champions and significant battles. In 1363 DR, Maxtilar co-sponsored a ship named Goddess' Glory alongside the clergy of Sune. The vessel was tasked with delivering precious statuary to the Temple of Beauty. However, it mysteriously sank just south of Waterdeep. Unbeknownst to them, the sinking was orchestrated by Kerritas Reefsilver of the Cult of Ao and two merfolk, who pilfered the statuary to adorn a temple to Deep Sashelas in an underwater reef near Deepwater Harbor.
