Rian Liurandel served as the Priestess of the High Moonlight and was the leader of the House of the Moon in Bloodhand Hold (later known as Waterdeep) during the 8th century DR. In the Year of Lost Wayfarers, 757 DR, she was informed of charges laid against the New Moon Pact by High Moonmistress Brima Chintamn of Bright Lady's Tower in Chancelgaunt. Believing the Pact had fallen into heresy by equating Shar with Selûne, Rian supported the charges and condoned the extermination of the Pact.
