He finds the typical upper-class events tedious and dreams of heroic adventures, such as slaying dragons and rescuing damsels in distress.
backstory
As the eldest son and heir of Lord Laskar Nesher, Noph was expected to continue the family's legacy in the lumber and wood-making business. However, his idealism often put him at odds with his father's methods. During the wedding of Piergeiron the Paladinson and Eidola of Neverwinter in 1371 DR, Noph willingly surrendered his dagger and even his father's concealed weapon, earning Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun's approval. Following the abduction of Eidola, Noph joined a rescue mission that led him through Undermountain and eventually to the distant land of Doegan. Throughout these adventures, he developed a deep admiration for Aleena Paladinstar, the daughter of Piergeiron.
