Hest Sciprar was a mercenary and devoted follower of Tymora, the goddess of luck and fortune. Residing in Waterdeep during the mid-to-late 14th century DR, he was known for his amicable nature and daring exploits. Hest's life was marked by a series of fortunate events, as the radiant favor of Tymora seemed to follow him wherever he went. He offered his services as a sellsword for a modest fee, always expecting an equal share of any treasure acquired, which he generously donated to the church of Tymora. Hest made his home at the Inn of the Dripping Dagger in the Trades Ward, where he could be contacted through the inn's owner, Filiare.
