Mhaere Dryndilstann was a devoted cleric of Lathander and the innkeeper of the Yawning Portal in Waterdeep. Married to the famed adventurer Durnan the Wanderer, she managed the inn with a strong will and a kind heart. Known for her levelheadedness and competence, Mhaere often healed injured adventurers returning from Undermountain, sometimes bending Durnan's rules to help those in dire need. She was also a skilled seamstress, creating dresses and working smocks as a sideline business. Mhaere was aware of her husband's status as a Masked Lord but chose not to discuss it with him. Her life took a dramatic turn when a murderer attempted to attack her family, showcasing her bravery and quick thinking in the face of danger.
