Description
The Ditch is a deep, winding trench that runs parallel to the ancient stone walls of Redwall Abbey. Overgrown with wild grasses and dotted with the occasional wildflower, it serves as a natural barrier and a refuge for small creatures, while also hiding secrets of the past beneath its earthy surface.
Appearance
The Ditch appears as a dark, shadowy line cutting through the landscape, with steep, crumbling sides that reveal layers of soil and roots. The air is often cooler here, and the sound of rustling leaves and distant animal calls fills the atmosphere.
