Once the summer estate of Emir Jalal al-Mu’tassim, The Jannah Royale has transformed from a grand palace into a bustling casino and political theater. Abandoned during the British transition, it briefly housed a Russian cultural institute before falling into disrepair. Now, restored by Velvetine-linked investors, it serves as a safehouse and a hub for intrigue, where loyalty is often tested over drinks and games.

The Jannah Royale features opulent marble steps leading down to a sunken main hall filled with green felt tables, where the air is thick with the scent of gin and the sound of jazz. The Velvet Balcony looms above, draped in burgundy, while the Ash Room hides behind a wine cabinet, offering a private escape for the elite. Service corridors snake through the old palace catacombs, providing secretive passage for smugglers.
