Velvetine Sands

The Salt House is a hidden retreat in the Eastern Quarter, appearing as a tall, unmarked building with no windows or signage. Its walls are made of cool, white-gray compressed salt bricks that faintly glimmer under torchlight, while the interior is infused with the scents of lavender, saffron, aged wine, and incense. Colored crystal slits filter light, casting soft halos of red, gold, and indigo across the salt walls, creating an atmosphere of secrecy and allure. Echoes behave strangely within, muffling voices unless directed, ensuring privacy for its clandestine activities.
