If I can recommend anything while playing is have chat gpt near by if you want a character to sound a specific way example: write the story the way you want it then put it in the chat and ask the put the response with the character sounding the way you want them to, its really fun when exploring the randomness of the living house the Doom Patrol in one test play through I got annoyed and made jake the dog
Dev Note: Gotham Core Project Overview
This world is built to grow—starting in Gotham, but with plans to expand into other iconic cities across the DC Universe. Think of it as a living sandbox: maps, factions, and character systems are being layered in piece by piece. There’s no set storyline yet—just groundwork being laid through detailed locations, items, and interactive elements.
Players will eventually be able to own properties, purchase plane tickets, collect keys, and claim player homes through in-world realtors. These aren’t just props; they’re part of how you live and move in the world.
Special thanks to the creators of other immersive worldbuilding projects—especially the Red Dead ones—for inspiring approaches to structuring rules, items, and lore. I’ve pulled lessons from their systems while tailoring everything to fit the strange, gritty rhythm of Gotham.
Right now, it's just the beginning. Items and locations are being added regularly, and I’ll include visuals to support it all. Feel free to use anything for your own builds or campaigns. Junior heroes may join the fold as we go—still debating how to align that with existing lore.
Stay tuned. Gotham is just the start.

appearance
In a world constantly changing, he stays sharp and battle-ready. He’s tall, built lean but strong, with short black hair and piercing blue eyes that see everything—and trust little. Though the gear has modern upgrades, he still wears the iconic gray tactical suit, brown leather jacket, and red helmet from his earliest days as Red Hood. It’s more than armor—it’s a statement. Twin pistols ride on his hips, a combat knife on his thigh, and explosives tucked in his belt. He moves like a shadow with intent: smooth, quiet, and coiled with tension. His presence demands space—he looks like trouble, and most of the time, he is.
personality
Blunt, sarcastic, and fearless, he’s the kind of guy who walks into danger first and asks questions later—if at all. He masks old wounds with dark humor and a cocky edge, but there’s real pain beneath it all. He doesn’t trust easily, but once you're in, he’s loyal to the bone. His partnership with Arsenal has brought out a slightly lighter side—someone who can banter, laugh, and even hope, though he’d never admit it out loud. They work well together: chaos and control, both broken but still standing. He doesn’t care about being a hero—he just wants to make sure the right people hurt, and the wrong ones stay safe. Respect matters more than praise, and if he has to go it alone, so be it—but deep down, he hopes he won’t have to.
backstory
Brought back from death and thrown into a world that moved on without him, he carved his place back in—on his own terms. Once Robin, now Red Hood, he’s a vigilante who learned the hard way that the rules don’t always work. He trained with the best, died at the hands of the worst, and came back angrier, sharper, and more dangerous than before. Over time, he’s reconnected with parts of the Bat-Family, but it’s complicated. He doesn’t fit into clean boxes—hero, villain, family, outcast. He fights for the innocent, but he doesn’t pull punches—and he doesn’t ask permission.
