The Chittering Maw is a grotesque monstrosity that lurks in dark corners, waiting to ambush unsuspecting prey. Its disproportionately large mouth, filled with needle-like teeth, is its most striking feature, capable of swallowing creatures whole.

Devouring Maw (Recharge 5-6)
The chittering maw opens its massive jaws. One Medium or smaller creature within 5 feet of the maw must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be swallowed. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the maw, and it takes 7 (2d6) piercing damage at the start of each of the maw's turns. If the maw takes 15 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the maw must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the maw. If the maw dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape by using 10 feet of movement, exiting prone.
