Engulf Special Action (Recharge 4-6)
The Suffocating Mire moves up to its speed and can attempt to engulf one Large or smaller creature in its space. The target must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 28 (8d6) bludgeoning damage and becoming grappled and restrained (escape DC 15) on a failed save. While engulfed, the target is blinded and suffocating.
Multiattack
The Suffocating Mire makes two pseudopod attacks.
Pseudopod
Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). While grappled, the target is restrained and begins to suffocate. While suffocating, the target can hold its breath for a number of rounds equal to its Constitution modifier (minimum 1). For each round beyond that, the target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage at the start of its turn.
