Blades In the Dark

In the shadowy alleys of Doskvol, the elite gather to witness the extravagant races of specially bred hounds, a trend that has captivated the high society. An imposter from the Dagger Isles, known only as 'Master Vreen,' has swindled a small fortune from gullible investors with promises of creating the 'finest racing track for hounds in all the Imperium.' Yet, the investors remain in the dark, waiting for the promised windfall that seems perpetually out of reach.

The racing track is a lavishly constructed arena, adorned with flickering gas lamps casting eerie shadows. Spectators, draped in opulent attire, whisper secrets and wagers as the hounds, sleek and fierce, are paraded before them, their eyes glinting with a predatory gleam.
