Description

The Tidegate House serves as the harbor master's office, strategically located on the main docks to oversee maritime traffic. Built with durable stone and timber, it features large windows for unobstructed views of the harbor, an office filled with charts and records, and a lookout tower for monitoring ship movements. The building includes living quarters for the harbor master and staff, a small guard post for enforcing regulations, and a signaling system for communication with incoming vessels.
