Born in Queens to working-class parents, Zahir Ellis awakened his solar powers saving a bus at thirteen. Monarch discovered him soon after, molding him into a symbol of hope. Loyal but restless, Luminary struggles to live up to the legend she demands — while dreaming of forging a brighter path in his own name.
