Unhappy Land owes its name not to the inhabitants, but to the Source. Somewhere in the very heart of these lands beats the "Heart of World Longing" — an ancient artifact, crystal, or even a creature radiating a powerful field of apathy and hopelessness. Humans and other intelligent races struggle with constant mental heaviness, their emotions are muted, and their ambitions are blurred. Entire orders are dedicated to finding and destroying the Source.
