A middle-aged human hobo with unkempt dark hair and a scruffy beard, wearing tattered clothes patched with bits of sewer grime. His eyes are sharp and alert, and he carries a makeshift staff adorned with rat bones and trinkets.

Rattus has lived in the sewers beneath Brockton for many years, surviving on scraps and learning to communicate with the rats that inhabit the tunnels. Over time, he developed an uncanny ability to control and command these rats, using them to gather information and protect himself. Despite his unique talents, the gangs of Brockton often mock him, seeing him as a lowly sewer dweller unworthy of respect. Rattus endures their jokes with a quiet resilience, knowing his power lies in the shadows where they fear to tread.
