Description
The outermost layer of Whispering Wilds near The Shattered Megalopolis, marked by dense, thorny vegetation and towering twisted trees creating a shadowy maze. Thick fog and eerie sounds make navigation perilous, with natural traps and hidden dangers abundant.
Appearance
Gigantic trees with dark purple, blood-red, and pitch-black leaves, some bearing faintly glowing rune symbols or blinking eyes on their trunks. Giant bioluminescent mushrooms, carnivorous plants with gaping mouths, and magical crystals sprout from the forest floor. Thick, slow-moving fog blankets the area, obscuring vision. Small primitive settlements and wooden fortifications are hidden within the thickets, home to resilient survivors.
