The purpose of this cemetery is a grim form of social control and espionage, where the Kitsune populace has learned to manipulate their populace by erasing their memories and turning them into unaware pawns or debased informants. The gardens are a beautiful lie, and to enter is to risk losing your identity to the insidious deceptions of the Kitsune. It is a place where the dead are not allowed to rest in peace, but are instead turned into a resource for a kingdom that values secrets and lies above all else.
