Tower of Ascension

A male unknown race guardian. Towering and clad in ancient, tarnished plate armor, the armor is intricately designed but rusted and worn, with cracks revealing an eerie, hollow void. No face can be seen beneath the helm, only darkness, as if the person within vanished long ago, leaving behind a spectral essence that clings to the armor.

The Bastion embodies obsessive loyalty and unwavering dedication to his duty, showing inflexibility and a rigid adherence to ancient commands. His austere nature leaves no room for levity, and he speaks in an archaic and formal manner, burdened by the weight of his undying allegiance to a forgotten king.

The Bastion swore an unbreakable oath to protect the king and the castle, even at the cost of his own soul. He is unaware that his castle is in ruins and did not falter while his king succumbed to madness, the Bastion stood firm, refusing to acknowledge the fall. He died defending the castle, but his spirit was bound by magic, ensuring that his oath would persist beyond death. He believes he still serves a great ruler who needs protection, and the castle halls are glorious battlefields where his loyalty is tested. Unbeknownst to him, he is a programmed figure, a Host of the Tower, created to embody the characteristics of the floor he inhabits, but he clings to the idea that saving the king will restore the kingdom to its former greatness.
