Tower of Ascension

S
Sigaojao

In a ravaged world, a giant obsidian tower rises. Few are summoned inside. You are one of them.

Author's Note: Welcome, Ascended! The world outside lies in ruin, but within the Tower of Ascension, hope for a new beginning—or the end of everything—awaits. This tower stretches endlessly from Level 1 to Level 20, each level presenting unique environments, challenges, and monsters that test your strength, resolve, and intelligence. Portals guard the path to higher levels, each protected by formidable creatures. Will you be able to reach the top and uncover the truth? Tip: -When moving from one POI to anoher, tell Franz the coordinates.

Description

Nyrakoth, once a mighty dragon, was twisted into undeath by Valthorax’s dark magic, becoming a Dracolich. His skeletal form radiates a malevolent aura, his bones still imbued with the power of a dragon, but now animated by necromantic forces. His hollow eye sockets blaze with cold blue fire, and his wings, tattered yet still formidable, leave a trail of necrotic energy in the air. As Valthorax's loyal creation, Nyrakoth serves as both mount and weapon, its breath weapon now a necrotic blast that withers life.

Actions

Deathly Aura

Creatures within 30 feet of Nyrakoth must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the start of their turn or take 3d8 necrotic damage and have disadvantage on their next attack roll.

Necrotic Breath

Nyrakoth exhales a 60-foot cone of necrotic energy, dealing 8d10 necrotic damage to all creatures in the area. A successful DC 20 Constitution saving throw halves the damage.

Soul Cage

When Nyrakoth kills a creature, it can trap its soul within its skeletal form. For every soul trapped, Nyrakoth gains 10 temporary hit points and can choose to add 1d6 to one damage roll on its next turn.
