Description

The Mummy Lord is a powerful and ancient undead creature, shrouded in tattered linen wrappings that exude an air of decay and malevolence. It commands the loyalty of lesser mummies and seeks to reclaim its lost power in the mortal realm, often dwelling in long-forgotten tombs filled with traps and treasures that protect its resting place. With a dark aura of necromantic energy, the Mummy Lord can curse its foes and unleash devastating magical abilities.

Mummy's Curse

The Mummy Lord curses one creature it can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be cursed for 1 minute. While cursed, the target takes 10 (3d6) necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the curse on itself on a success.

Rotting Gaze

The Mummy Lord targets one creature it can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 27 (6d8) necrotic damage and be blinded until the end of the Mummy Lord's next turn.

Whirlwind of Death

The Mummy Lord releases a swirling vortex of sand and decay in a 15-foot radius centered on itself. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This damage ignores resistance to necrotic damage.
