You choose an area of stone or mud that you can see within range and that fits within a 40-foot cube, and you can transmute it into a different material. • Transmute Rock to Mud: Nonmagical rock of any sort in the area becomes an equal volume of thick, flowing mud that remains for the spell’s duration. The ground in the area becomes muddy enough that creatures can sink into it. Each creature on the ground must make a Strength saving throw or become restrained. A restrained creature can use its action to make a Strength check to free itself. If the area is on a slope, the mud may flow downhill. • Transmute Mud to Rock: Nonmagical mud or quicksand in the area turns into solid stone for the duration. Any creature stuck in the mud becomes restrained by the rock. A restrained creature can make a Dexterity saving throw to escape before the rock hardens.
