The Continent of Acheron is an isolated, foreboding landmass dominated by an expansive mountain range known as the Abyssal Peaks. The entire continent exists as a fortress-like environment, dedicated solely to housing the infamous Acheron Penitentiary. Shrouded in perpetual mist and hemmed in by treacherous seas, Acheron is a place where the air itself feels heavy with the weight of despair and secrecy. The jagged cliffs and sheer, rocky faces of the mountains render the continent nearly impossible to approach by sea or air. The few who attempt to reach Acheron without proper authorization are met with violent storms, labyrinthine fjords, and perilous waters teeming with treacherous currents.
