Vampyre Citadel is a city of gothic elegance, ruled by an ancient vampire lord who serves under Lord Vorthan. The city is built into the side of a jagged mountain, with grand castles and mansions perched precariously on the cliffs. The architecture is elaborate and ornate, with dark stone and stained glass windows. The streets are cobbled and lined with flickering gas lamps, casting long shadows. The inhabitants are primarily vampires, along with their thralls and human servants. At the highest point of the city stands the Bloodkeep, a grand castle where the vampire lord resides and holds court. The city is protected by the Blood Knights, a fearsome group of vampire warriors who ensure that the city's secrets and inhabitants are kept safe.
