A cigarette is almost always tucked between his lips, a habit he developed over years in the dim, claustrophobic corridors of the Iron Vein.

Viktor is gruff, cynical, and jaded from years of working in the harsh, unforgiving environment of Acheron. He projects an image of a loyal, hard-working guard, but beneath this facade, he is a calculating opportunist with a shrewd understanding of human nature. His smuggling operation has made him highly cautious and secretive, and he trusts very few people, relying only on a select few confidants to keep his illegal activities hidden. Viktor grew up in one of the rougher districts outside of Acheron and spent his early years as a manual laborer, moving from one dead-end job to another. His experience working with underground construction and mechanical systems eventually led him to a position at Acheron Penitentiary, where he was tasked with maintaining the prison's infrastructure, particularly the intricate system of tunnels beneath the prison. Despite his rough exterior, Viktor is highly intelligent and saw an opportunity for more than just a paycheck. Early in his career at Acheron, he began using his knowledge of the prison’s underground network to smuggle contraband to inmates, ranging from simple goods like cigarettes and food to more dangerous items like weapons. His black-market operation grew steadily over the years, with Viktor building a network of trusted contacts and informants among both inmates and corrupt guards.
