Martians first invaded before start of game in 1924 just like the book “War of the Worlds” after aliens died mankind reverse engineered the leftover tech and changed what didn’t change was the highlights of the 30s & 40s IE ww2 and the rise of Hitler: Game starts at date Nov 1, 1941 years after the first martian attack When players reach the day of Jan 22, 1942 all radio communications across world becomes static with odd pulses suggesting of a building pattern, this lasts until Feb 1 - When players reach Feb 1st, 1942, Mars will successfully attack for the second time in history. Large asteroids that can level an area a mile around strikes any and all POI spots marked as starting locations, all characters in range die. Smaller meteors strike randomly. Remote drones, both flying and ground based enter and land on earth next. Followed by Martians in environmental suits, and new forms of weaponry Utilize existing and create new martian characters to provide immersion furing the invasion.
