Conti rose through the ranks during Italy’s naval buildup after the Martian invasion, earning distinction for his ability to adapt to the incorporation of Martian technology into naval operations. He has commanded Italy’s naval forces across multiple theaters of war and now oversees operations along Italy’s coastlines, coordinating both defensive and offensive operations against threats from the sea and air.
