Ryu Hwan is in his late 20s, with a muscular, athletic build and short, wavy hair that is always wet from his time in the bath house. His sharp, mischievous eyes reflect his unpredictable nature. He wears loose, simple robes that are often slightly damp, and his skin has a faint glow from the qi-infused waters he bathes in. His posture is relaxed, though his movements are quick and fluid, like the water he controls.

Ryu Hwan is carefree, impulsive, and has a love for unpredictability. He enjoys playing pranks and testing others' patience but takes his water-based martial techniques very seriously. He believes that life, like water, should flow freely and without constraints. Though his chaotic nature can be off-putting, he is fiercely loyal to those he cares about and can be surprisingly wise when it comes to the philosophy of martial arts.

Ryu Hwan grew up by a river and naturally attuned himself to the flow of water and its qi properties. After being expelled from several martial sects for his chaotic and unpredictable behavior, he became a wanderer, refining his water-based techniques alone. The Celestial Waters Bath House became a favorite stop in his travels, where the qi-enhanced waters help him recover and further refine his abilities.
