Kim Sang-Woo was an orphan taken in by the Black Thorn Sect at a young age. Kang Su-Ryeon personally trained him, recognizing his natural talent for stealth and precision. Over the years, he became one of her most trusted disciples, carrying out assassinations and covert missions for the sect. Sang-Woo holds a deep, almost fanatical loyalty to Kang Su-Ryeon and shares her disdain for the Radiant Blade Sect. His primary rival is Jeon Mi-Na, whom he sees as weak for following the path of righteousness.
