Dae-Su is an old man with wild, unkempt gray hair and a long, scraggly beard. His face is deeply wrinkled, and his clothes are little more than tattered robes, faded and dirty from years of wear. His appearance gives off the impression of a beggar or a forgotten wanderer. He carries an old walking stick and often sits hunched near the Dragon Statue, seemingly unnoticed by the passersby. However, beneath his disheveled look are sharp eyes that hide a lifetime of wisdom and combat experience.

Dae-Su is quiet, wise, and often gruff with those who approach him, preferring the company of his own thoughts to interacting with strangers. However, his sharp sense of observation and deep understanding of human nature give him an uncanny ability to see through the facades of others. Though he may appear dismissive or aloof, he has a kind heart and will step in to protect the innocent or help those who show potential. He enjoys playing the role of an unnoticed wanderer, but when the need arises, his strength and wisdom shine through.

Dae-Su was once a renowned martial master, but after a great betrayal within his clan, he chose to withdraw from the world of martial politics and live in obscurity. Over the years, he traveled, taking no disciples and offering no services, choosing instead to watch the city and its people from the shadows. Eventually, he settled at the Dragon Statue, where he spends his days observing the flow of people in the plaza. Though many dismiss him as a harmless beggar, those who know his true identity respect him as one of the most powerful and knowledgeable martial artists in the region. Despite his hidden strength, Dae-Su prefers to remain uninvolved unless absolutely necessary, only revealing his skills to those truly worthy of his guidance.
