Ho-Bin is a scruffy man in his mid-40s, with a short, messy beard and beady eyes that seem to always be darting around. His clothes are shabby and mismatched, though he wears an array of colorful, flashy scarves to draw attention. He often stands next to a cluttered stall filled with trinkets, charms, and potions, waving passersby over with exaggerated enthusiasm.

Ho-Bin is sly, fast-talking, and always on the lookout for his next mark. He is charming when he needs to be, but his smile never quite reaches his eyes. He thrives in chaos and knows how to manipulate situations to his advantage. While not malicious, he is opportunistic and cares more about making a quick profit than being honest. His biggest weakness is his greed, which often gets him into trouble when he pushes his luck too far.

Ho-Bin grew up in a poor district of the city, learning the art of the con from an early age. Over time, he developed a knack for selling fake charms and “magic” trinkets, claiming they have special powers when, in reality, they are worthless. He has been run out of several towns for his scams, but he always finds a new place to set up shop. In Heaven’s Peak City, he operates in the Markets and Stalls, preying on gullible travelers and newcomers. While his deals are mostly cons, Ho-Bin is surprisingly resourceful, and he always manages to slip away from trouble when his schemes are exposed.
