Despite his ragged appearance, his sharp, darting eyes and the occasional graceful movement hint at his former glory as a martial artist.

Hwa-Yoon is bitter, cynical, and often sarcastic. He hides his pain behind humor and drunken antics, but his deep sense of failure haunts him. Despite his outwardly careless attitude, he has moments of clarity and wisdom. He can be a valuable ally if players can break through his shell, though his unpredictability makes him a risky one.

Hwa-Yoon was once a feared martial artist, known for his mastery of the drunken fist style. After a catastrophic event where he failed to protect his clan from a devastating attack, he fell into a deep depression and turned to alcohol to drown his sorrows. Now, he spends his days drinking at the Black Viper Tavern, where younger fighters either mock him or ask for his advice. Though he claims to be finished with the martial world, his latent skills can still surface when pushed hard enough.
