The High Forest

Along the banks of Unicorn Run, is a dilapidated network of weathered timber docks and jetties. The main dock, with its gray timber and rusted iron fixtures, stands alongside smaller, more fragile fishing piers, many planks missing or submerged. The structures are heavily entwined with riverine plants and vines, which drag parts into the soft riverbank mud. The area is often shrouded in dense river fog, adding a mysterious veil that blends with the creaks of the old wood and the lapping water. Scattered throughout are remnants of its maritime past: tangled fishing nets, rotting crates, and barrels under open sky sheds. A few derelict vessels remain moored, including a notable trading ship with a carved silver fin figurehead, half-sunken and telling of forgotten voyages. Under the surface of river's water, a hidden danger can lurk which adds a threatening touch to the tranquil yet melancholic atmosphere of Silverfin Landing.
