A robust structure of ancient dwarven masonry, complemented by intricately decorated iron gates and newer wooden additions. This formidable fortress, once a dwarven bastion, was later the command center for The Nine's operations and is now occupied by the druid Ogian. The fortress-like appearance is marked by high walls and a few strategically placed watchtowers. Administrative quarters and residential sections are situated along the perimeter of the courtyard, with heavy wooden doors and stone archways leading into each section. Beneath the surface, the stronghold extends into a network of cavernous, old dwarven halls linked by corridors lined with glowing vines and bioluminescent fungi. These subterranean levels house storerooms, dormant forges, and secluded chambers, including recently cultivated underground gardens. Access to the deeper, more secretive layers is restricted, it is rumored to hold artifacts of The Nine still protected by mystical guardians like golems, nagas.
Entering the Keep of the Nine reveals a grand hall lined with towering columns carved from the native stone, their surfaces etched with intertwining runes of dwarven and elven craft. As one descends into the underground, the air grows cooler and the ambiance shifts to one of solemn secrecy. Dimly lit corridors lined with glowing runes lead through a labyrinth of stone, opening into vast chambers that house ancient forges still warm to the touch and libraries filled with arcane tomes bound in mysterious leathers. The newly added druidic sanctuaries breathe life into the subterranean gloom, with luminescent mosses and vines creeping along the walls, softly illuminating the pathways and infusing the air with the earthy scent of forest soil. Deeper still, the sounds of distant echoes bounce off the walls, hinting at the extensive, yet largely unexplored, tunnels that stretch far into the darkness, inviting the brave to discover the secrets they hold.
