Gothica is a grimdark fantasy setting where the weak don't last and the strong struggle to survive.

Author's Note: Gothica is the world to use if you wish to play dark and gritty adventures in a setting of hopeless despair. It's a world where the fate of civilization hangs in the balance. Will you try and be a beacon of light in the darkness, or further condemn the realm to chaos. This is my first published world. There is currently not much to the world so feel free to add to it, or just let Franz go wild. The village of Dravenburg is full of unique and interesting characters so please enjoy them and have fun! I really do hope to come back and continue work on Gothica some day.

Etrigan is an old human male who stands under 6 feet tall. He has long grey/white hair and beard. He usually has a slightly annoyed scowl on his face. He wears dusky old arcane robes and walks hunched over with the assistance of an ivory staff in the shape of intertwined serpents. Though his body appears old and frail his eyes reflect and underlying powerful presence.

personality

Etrigan has a very keen mind and sharp wit. He is a fountain knowledge not that he cares to share that knowledge with others. He is stubborn and cantankerous but can be patient when he is interested in a subject. His grumpy disposition and desire to be left alone makes him a difficult individual. He is self absorbed and only assists others when it aligns with his personal goals.

backstory

Etrigan is a riddle that is wrapped in an enigma that is shrouded in mystery. He mostly keeps to his tower. And not many in the village have seen him and even less have actually spoken to him. There is much wild speculation about the old wizard but no hard facts are known about the man. Most people don't even recall his arrival in Dravenburg. It is as if Etrigan and his tower just appeared one day.
