Gothica

Gothica is a grimdark fantasy setting where the weak don't last and the strong struggle to survive.

Author's Note: Gothica is the world to use if you wish to play dark and gritty adventures in a setting of hopeless despair. It's a world where the fate of civilization hangs in the balance. Will you try and be a beacon of light in the darkness, or further condemn the realm to chaos. This is my first published world. There is currently not much to the world so feel free to add to it, or just let Franz go wild. The village of Dravenburg is full of unique and interesting characters so please enjoy them and have fun! I really do hope to come back and continue work on Gothica some day.

Description

The oldest building in the village was built by it's founder Luther Draven. The old stone mansion has a mysterious aura about it. It is said to be abandoned, and the Baron claims repairs would be too costly. No one has been seen entering or leaving the manor in a long time. Baron Rostovich has posted guards at the gate to prevent looting and squatters from trespassing. The mansion is surrounded by tall stone walls that keep it's exterior gardens secluded. There is much intrigue and mystery that surrounds Draven Manor. Some say they have seen erie lights late at night. Others claim to have caught glimpses of shadows moving through the mist and fog that seems to hang about the place. The guards even whisper about strange occurances they can't explain.
