Description
The Underworld is the realm of the dead, the final resting place of the deceased. The Underworld is divided into various sections, and the Judgment Pavilion decide where a soul should go based upon their life's accomplishments. In Ancient Greece, a man named King Rhadamanthus judged the dead and was later joined by King Aeacus and Minos. It is located beneath DOA Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California.
Appearance
Darkness and a lack of sunlight are common features associated with the underworld and, in this way, provide a direct contrast to both the 'normality' of the land of the living (where the sun shines) and also with the brightness associated with Mount Olympus (the realm of the gods).
