Austin was born to Apollo, the Greek god of music, and Latricia Lake - a music professor at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. When he was old enough, Austin was brought to Camp Half-Blood by an unknown satyr. After arriving, he was claimed by Apollo and placed in Cabin Seven.
