Aloe Vera was a large young woman in a muumuu like a husk of an artichoke. Her hair was a forest of dark green triangles. Her face and arms glistened as if they'd just been oiled.

personality

Aloe Vera is very caring. She often offers to check on people, saying they might need more aloe goo. When Aloe Vera heals people, she sometimes overdoes it and leaves them covered head-to-toe in aloe goo.

backstory

Aloe Vera is a Dryad that lives in a greenhouse near Palm Springs. When Apollo and Meg encountered her months ago, Aloe Vera eased their pain when they arrived at the Aeithales. She was happy when Apollo remembered that he used aloe vera to make healing ointments. She is present at the council in the cistern to discuss the findings of Apollo, Grover and Gleeson Hedge. After they go to the parking lot and are attacked by Medea, she tends to them since Apollo is now mortal and might be disintegrated by Ambrosia.
