appearance
Perseus had long blonde hair, tied in a ponytail, a handsome face, and an athletic build.
personality
As many who traveled to the Island of Creation, Perseus was desperate to change his fate, in his case to save his loved one. While the circumstances of Andromeda's death aren't explained in the game, Perseus seems to feel entitled to her affections despite only having met her for the first time on the day of her sacrifice. This shows that his relationship with Andromeda was more a case of obsessive love than a genuine relationship between the two.
backstory
Perseus was a Greek demigod, son of Zeus and the mortal princess Danaë, and one of the only heroes in Greek mythology to have a happy ending. Perseus was tasked with obtaining the head of Medusa, a Gorgon whose gaze turns people to stone. Aided by gifts from the gods, including Hermes' winged sandals and Athena's reflective shield, Perseus successfully beheads Medusa. On his way back, he rescues the princess Andromeda from a sea monster and later marries her. Returning home, Perseus uses Medusa's head to turn the tyrant Polydectes and his followers to stone, thus saving his mother. Together, Perseus and Andromeda had nine children: seven sons and two daughters. One of their sons, named Electryon, had a daughter named Alcmene who would become the mother of Hercules, through Zeus.
