Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Legends

Triton was described as a merman with two fish tails instead of one. He looked young, had green skin and black hair tied in a ponytail, and wore armor studded with pearls.

Like most gods, Triton seems to be proud and arrogant. He is jealous of Percy, his father's favorite son instead of him despite being only a demigod. Like all sea deities, he is very territorial and possessive, especially in regards to his conch shell.

Triton was born to Poseidon and Amphitrite. He lives with his parents in a golden palace in the depths of the sea. Triton was somewhat cold and arrogant to Percy Jackson, talking down to him and acting as if his half-brother was lazy for not appearing sooner after Percy jumped off of the now blown up Princess Andromeda. This is probably understandable, however, as Percy is the son of his father's affair with Sally Jackson, a mortal. Triton makes fun of Percy, smiling at one of his comments. However, Triton shows respect to Tyson by nodding respectfully. Years later, after being transformed into a half-octopus, Percy considered asking Poseidon to turn him back, but thinks that since Triton is immortal with two fish tails, the god might not see the problem about having a half-octopus for a son.
