appearance
Due to her godhood, Freya's youthful appearance belies her true age. Despite her son Baldur's claims that it had been at least 100 years since the two were last together and the fact that she fought in the Aesir-Vanir war which lasted for centuries, Freya has the appearance of a beautiful young woman. She has long chestnut hair that cascades down her back tied near the end, Freya's Falcon Feathers in her hair hint to some of her hidden magical powers. In addition, she has two long braided locks that fall to her shoulders. She wears a light brown dress with animal skins and has faded tattoos on her arms, Freya wears a simple beaded necklace that holds great personal importance for Freya—a gift from her young son in better days, she also wears her Brísingamen, it is more than just a beautiful amber amulet; it contains the name of her son embedded within. The Golden Waistguard of Duty is a remnant from a solemn responsibility Freya once took very seriously.
personality
Freya is a bright and helpful woman, very loving towards her family. However, she can quickly change her demeanor and become very intimidating, to the point where Magnus Chase had a mental image of her riding into battle alongside the Valkyries. Due to her love for jewelry, Freya is willing to do anything to get the jewelry she wants since she agreed to marry co. 4 dwarfs for four days and get pregnant by each one as long as they gave her the Brisingamen necklace
backstory
Freya (also spelt Freyja) is the Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, death and sorcery. She is a member of the Vanir tribe of deities, daughter of Njord, god of the sea, and twin sister of Frey. After the war between the Aesir and Vanir, in which the Aesir emerged victorious, the two tribes joined to form a single pantheon and many of the Vanir, including Freyja and Freyr, took up residence in Asgard. Freya is, alongside Odin, one of the most powerful users of magic among the Norse gods and presides over the realm of Folkvanger, one of two places Norse warriors go to after death (the other being Valhalla). As the goddess of war, she rides into battle on a chariot pulled by cats.
