Description
Scylla is a monstrous sea creature with the upper body of a beautiful woman and the lower body of a snarling mass of serpents, each one writhing and snapping with ravenous hunger. She is infamous for her presence near the strait of Messina, where sailors must navigate perilously close to her lair in order to avoid the horrors of the deep sea.
