Description
The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American independence, located in Philadelphia at the Liberty Bell Center in Independence National Historical Park. It was originally placed in the steeple of the Pennsylvania State House (now known as Independence Hall). The bell is famous for its inscription, "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof," and its crack, which is a visible part of its history.
