Description
Folkvanger, also spelled Fólkvangr, is a meadow, or a field, ruled over by the goddess Freya, and where half of those who die in combat go after death, while the other half goes to Valhalla which is overseen by All-Father Odin. Crowds of people were hanging out – eating, laughing, chatting, playing music, flying kites, tossing beach balls. Some folks were dressed in various bits of armor. Most had weapons, but they didn’t seem very interested in using them.
