A high elevation region with steep coastal descents, dense deciduous forests, rolling hills, and numerous lakes and rivers. Inhabited by independent settlements united under a Council of Elders, reflecting a rich cultural heritage inspired by Northeast Native American tribes. Summers are warm and humid; winters bring heavy snowfall.
